Before you can use the Arxan MAM Publisher plugin with any of your Jenkins projects, you must add it to your Jenkins build server. If you have an older version of the plugin already installed, see Upgrade the Plugin.

Add the Plugin

To add the Arxan MAM Publisher to Jenkins:

  1. From the Jenkins menu in the top bar of the Jenkins window, select Manage Jenkins > Manage Plugins to display the Plugins page.
  2. Click the Available tab. 
  3. In the Filter box, type Arxan to find the Arxan MAM Publisher.
  4. Select the plugin in the Install column and then click the Download now and install after restart button.
  5. On the Installing Plugins/Upgrades page, monitor the status of the download.
  6. When you are ready to reboot the Jenkins server, select the Restart option. This will install the plugin and then restart Jenkins when no jobs are running. 

Upgrade the Plugin

If you have an older version of the Arxan MAM Publisher plugin installed, follow this procedure to install the latest version.

To upgrade the Arxan MAM Publisher in Jenkins:

  1. From the Jenkins menu in the top bar of the Jenkins window, select Manage Jenkins > Manage Plugins to display the Plugins page. 

  2. Click the Updates tab.  

  3. If the Arxan MAM Publisher is not listed, click the Check now button to check for any new updates. If it is still not listed, you most likely have the latest version installed. You can confirm this on the Installed tab.  

  4. Check the box in the Install column and then click the Download now and install after restart button.

  5. On the Installing Plugins/Upgrades page, you can monitor the status of the download.
  6. When you are ready to reboot the Jenkins server, select the Restart option. This will install the plugin and then restart Jenkins when no jobs are running.
