Integrations with Mobile Application Development Platforms
Red Hat Mobile Application Platform/FeedHenry
Red Hat Mobile Application Platform (RHMAP) offers a suite of features to enable collaborative app development, centralized control of security and back-end integration, and app deployment. From your RHMAP Build Farm, you can upload built mobile app binaries directly to an Apperian organization.
For instructions on uploading app binaries to Apperian from RHMAP, see section 22.214.171.124 of the Red Hat Mobile Application Platform 4.1 documentation.
IBM Worklight Studio
The IBM® Worklight® Studio is an Eclipse-based IDE that makes it possible for developers to perform all the coding and integration tasks needed to build mobile applications. The Worklight Studio augments Eclipse with enterprise-grade features that are delivered by the Worklight Plug-ins, enabling Worklight Studio to streamline application development and to facilitate enterprise connectivity. Using the Apperian plugin, you can publish iOS and Android mobile applications to Apperian directly from Worklight Studio. For more information on the Apperian and IBM Worklight integration, contact your Apperian Account Manager.
Xamarin Studio is a fully-featured IDE built for mobile app development, including code completion, an integrated UI designer, and powerful built-in debugger. For more information on the Apperian plugin for Xamarin Studio, contact your Apperian Account Manager.
ViziApps is an online service for creating mobile apps using drag-and-drop wizards. With ViziApps, nearly anyone with business skills can create and deploy mobile apps without coding. For more information on the ViziApps integration with Apperian, contact your Apperian Account Manager.
AnyPresence is a mobile development platform powered by a robust mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaas). It provides pre-assembed mobile app templates, a design-time API, and other patent-pending capabilities to reduce the time and cost of mobile-enabling enterprise business processes, products, and services. The AnyPresense platform is easy to use, yet flexible enough to enable source code-level customization or on-premise hosting options.
Alpha Anywhere, by Alpha Software, is a platform that allows developers to quickly create prototypes of potential new applications. An extension of the Alpha Software development platform, Alpha Anywhere focuses on enterprise mobile application development, and is designed to be a low-cost way to build functional applications for business purposes.
Integrations with Automation Servers
Jenkins is a cross-platform, open source automation server used for continuous integration and delivery of software projects. If you use Jenkins to build your enterprise mobile application software applications, you can use the Arxan MAM Publisher to publish updates of those applications to Apperian directly from the Jenkins environment as part of the software build process. For instructions on installing and using the plugin, see Jenkins Integration.
